About Us

Cāritās ad Hūmānitātem Education Foundation (CHEF) is a non-profit and non-political organisation. Situated in Lagos, Nigeria, it was officially registered and certified by the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria, on May 12, 2022. As a non-profit foundation, its day-to-day operations are funded by generous donors, charitable institutions, and corporate bodies.

Believing that the core of education is to develop a child’s personality, the CHEF aims to support and annually assist school children of primary and secondary levels by paying their school fees. This gesture, which will focus not only on providing means and serving the common good of the child, shall also help parents of low-income in rural and urban regions to enable their children to attend school.

To sustain, support and strengthen the financial necessities of the Foundation, projects and special funding campaigns will be carried out regularly. The Foundation shall provide an annual report and financial statements as part of record-keeping and procedures. Also, updates on progress made and report sheets from beneficiaries will be made available to donors.
